Does SolaX X3-Ultra work locally with Home Assistant?

Yes, according to the public sources: the HA core integration “SolaX Power” and the HACS integration “SolaX Inverter Modbus” talk to it over the local network and expose settable entities, not only sensors.

Firmware updates can open or close local access — check the integration's own page before you buy, and your installer before software changes export limits or charges a battery from the grid.

Grid-connection lists

The list is the authority; this is a cross-reference.

Is the SolaX X3-Ultra on an EU grid-connection list?

Yes — models of this family are on the lists of AT, BE, CZ, EE, NL, SE (lists dated up to 2026-10-30, read 2026-10-31); the other 1 of the 7 lists read have no matching model, which is not a “no”.

The other 36 countries: a hybrid inverter there

No model rows for these: they publish no usable list, or GridFit has not read it. Each gets one answer by the same rule as the grid view — the maker's own document first, then the country's type-A ceiling, then what the lists read say.

Italys

SolaX's own document names these countries — the grid operator still decides at the application.

On 6 EU lists (AT, BE, CZ, EE, NL, SE): the maker has had the model certified and 6 grid operators accept it. Nothing is checked in these countries themselves: where there is no list the grid operator reads the maker's certificate for that country — ask the maker or installer for it; where a list exists that GridFit has not read, check the model there.

Whether a list or a rule applies is not confirmed yet.

s = from search results, ? = unverified; without a mark the country page was opened. The state per country comes from the EU+ grid-connection table; each country page says more.
